Nursery is offered for all children from birth to 24 months. We provide a safe and loving environment for infants and toddlers.
Little Lambs is a fun, age-appropriate place for your two- or three-year-old to learn about Jesus with other children their age.
Children in Worship is a joyful way for young children (ages four through third grade) to worship God. A unique storytelling format and multi-sensory materials invite children to experience the wonder and mystery of God.
This year’s Children in Worship collection will be going to meet the needs of children at St. John’s Home in Grand Rapids. We successfully worked with St. John’s Home during our Vacation Bible School week and collected almost $500 for their “Backpack and School Supply Drive”. We wanted to continue this relationship with them for this Fall semester and our money collected during the coming months will go for “Care Bags” that are given to kids who enter into foster care. These care bags contain items that children can take with them so that they have basic needs met and something to call their own. CIW leaders are talking with the kids about where their collections will go and we appreciate your support!
Second Hour programming (ages 3 through third grade) is offered from 11:15-12:15 during the school year. This fun-filled time is used for singing, crafts and learning more about Jesus. Children ages three to five will be part of Music for Munchkins. Kindergarten, first and second graders will be in Singing for Sprouts, and third graders will join fourth through sixth graders in
Kids Praise Team.
Fourth Graders participate in worship with youth and adults. Immediately following the service, they attend Sunday School class in Room 111.
Kids Praise Team practice runs the last 10 minutes of class time for children in grades 3-6.
